Wish For A Dream To End Life [2007] Poem by Catherine Beahl

Wish For A Dream To End Life [2007]

Rating: 4.0

To the twisted gods of a burning haven -
A fallen, burnt angel wishes
To wake up from this never-ending nightmare.
To use the knife of death
And end her eternal pain of sorrow.

To the greedy, lust-hungry husband -
Your forgotten unblessed wife, dreams
She could turn back the clock
And let her raped corpse burn
Alongside your soul of hatred and deadly sins.

For the shattered stone grave -
I leave behind these withered red roses;
To allow them to bloom beautifully once again
For the once happy innocent children whose bodies
Were torn apart by the lonely, homicidal teacher.

For the dead, silent student -
Here is a sealed letter, from his precious soul.
He loved you dearly. He didn’t want to hurt you.
All he wished for was to be with someone else
And keep you close - to his fragile heart.
