Wish Now - Poem by James Bost

FROM THE DAYS WE SPENT
ME THINKING WHAT LOVE MEANT
AFFECTION OF DESIRE
YOU ON MY MIND HOUR AFTER HOUR
NOTHING BUT MEMORIES
BUT WANT TO SHARE THOSE MEMORIES
ONE DAY
EVER THOUGHT OF WHO YOU CAN PICK
TO WAKE UP WITH SLEPP WITH
FOR THE REST OF LIFE
WISH NOW I CAN MAKE YOU MY WIFE
