I whispered to the wind my wishes for you today
And just like yesterday I hoped it'll reach your ears
I wished with every gentle blow of the wind you'll feel my warm embrace
I wished with its soft gentle gust you'll feel my hand caressing your hair
I wished with its quiet breeze you'll hear each word that my heart speaks
