Witches Poem by Dave 1289

Witches

There's fury in the sky
With a full moon hanging low
Something's creeping slowly
And the wind has no control
The evil that lingers
Is the evil that will seize
Surrounded by the nothingness
Escape is out of reach

Witches are hunting me down
And I can't run

My hands are bruised and bleeding
From scraping through the fear
Survival and its instinct
Have nowhere to hide here
The heavy wings of darkness
Are preying to caress
The only thing worth clinging to
Is my last shallow breath

Witches are hunting me down
And I can't run
