With All That Is Wrong You Always Fight Poem by sam gale

With All That Is Wrong You Always Fight

Sat alone in the shadowing fields
Sat with thoughts that endlessly grow
Like weeds on fallen shields
Or wind that continues to blow

With a stab in the back I heal
With dying thoughts so low
The pain becomes surreal
Lost with no where to go

Like darkness in the afternoon
Or being left alone
My heart beat losses it's tune
Forgotten all It's ever known

My mind is painfully breaking
My breath is slow
My word is frantically shaking
I've become my own foe

When summer becomes winter
And sunshine turns to rain
All has become bitter
With tears full of pain

As Earth stops spinning
As shooting stars crash
You're no longer winning
But you continue gleaming

With all that is wrong
You always fight
You keep strong
Until all becomes right
Because it wont be long
Until you see the light
and find somewhere you belong
that's when you'll shine bright
