With Arms Wide Open Poem by Cathy Phew

With Arms Wide Open

With arms wide open, the angels received thee
as i watched, my heart was bleeding
Am wondering, do angels give me kisses
cause I can't stand, the ground has shifted
Am loosing my grip, am falling into pieces.

One by one, now mortally absent
who is to blame, who is behind this
whats his name and why can't we stop this
why this pain, who can vindicate this

With open arms, the angels received thee
as i watched, my heart stopped beating
am wondering do angels give wishes
cause i got one, i wish to rewind this.

All in all trivialize not the bitterness
To the fallen angels, you will forever be with us
we love you all, i wish you could hear this
As God's glory engulfs you, our torrents of tears escort you
