With Blossoms White And Blue Poem by Peter S. Quinn

With Blossoms White And Blue

My sweetest day is still to come
With blossoms white and blue
I do not know where each is from
But they are clouds in the sky blue
A shining dwelling time to be
Each day as it comes so bright in
You see in the sky what you want to see
And gives you imaginations to spin

Oh cast no doubts to shadows low
For roots of summer are here
Each in its different beauties glow
From the morning that springs from nowhere
Our love is in each heart to live
And be like the rose and its ways
Either affection or thorns to give
As love inside there always plays

Upon my hill I see not too far
But only what my eyes might know
Peoples love is like a falling star
Long after its forgotten glow
