Being your friend taught me so many things
You helped me see that I am perfect just the way that I am.
That as long as I am happy why should I care about other's opinions?
Loving you and sharing a 'bed' gave a whole new meaning
Not till then had I realized my desire to share a life with another
NOt just anyone will do but a true companion
That all I could love, trust, and hope in another
Even when it all changed I still learned
I learned that even after my heart is broken
Never stop giving my all and that all pain heals
The reality of love is that it can happen again and love is not just once
True love is rare and occurs when nothing is spared.
