Within Us!

I stand beside this rock, stained deep in blood,
Since ages long, as a memoir
To the glorifying war, where you once succumbed,
To wounds deep, for us!
And as the rock soaks in my tears, so deep
It sucks and gulps my fears, within those crevices
And I salute you for that sacrifice, you made back long ago,
And as I breath free, you find life in me!
