Without You Poem by Ursula Tillmann

Without You

Without You
I would miss myself
tagging along me
and my shadow while
lacking rhyme
and reason.

Without You I am
nowhere to be found,
just lost among blank
pages waiting for ink
to exhale freeing lyrics.

Without You I am
a thirsty river, drained
by my aching soul, waiting for
unsung heartbeats to ponder.

Without You
I am a lost cause.
