I sit and watch the clock tick,
another moment passed me by.
I miss you so; I feel so sick.
Without you here right by my side.


People wonder and ask my why,
I have this sullen look in my eye.
It's because I can't stand it without you here;
Standing by my side.


The clouds may be a shadowy Grey;
So here I will sit in this color-less array.
But you come along with your smile so bright;
You shall light up the midnight-sky.


Just hold me tight;
and never say goodbye.
Let this love never fade out of sight.
Together, thats the way we ought to be.
