Wolf Brother Poem by Austin Bradford

Wolf Brother

Rating: 5.0

The world is different for me.
Who am I? What am I?

Wolfs surround me yet do not attack me.
Yet humans do not hunt me.

I think like a wolf yet walk like a man.
My claws are not sharp to slice at flesh.

My jaws aren't for ripping apart a fresh kill.
My family speaks in a tongue unknown.

The humans can speak in some why I know.
The humans kill my friends and family but leave me.

My paws can grip human weapons but not tear like claws.
I have no tail, no fangs, no fur.

Who am I? What am I?
I am the Wolf Brother
