Wonder Poem by General TripleD

Wonder

For all I know this might be my last note:

Outside the screams of despair have stopped and the crows are
feeding on the remains
It's hard to think of it, but it must be said
All this pain and bloodshed are my fault
I brought them in this situation merely by my presence
Yet a couple of months ago I hoped they wouldn't follow me here
A thousand miles of water lay in between here and were it all begun
Months of travelling brought me here, the last place on earth they
didn't control
Feeling the end is near a tremendous weight fell falls from my
shoulders
It's funny how the end frees us
All my life i laughed with those kind of expressions, but now my time
has come to an end, I see there is more wisdom in them than you'd
ever imagine
As the last door separating me from them falls, I turn around and
look up
Light enters the room
And then all lights go out

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When the bell rings midnight, ghost and stories of long ago
take flight.

Listen carefully and u might hear, what's hidden in the past.
But be warned, tell certain stories... and your end is near.
