Wonder Wonder Poem by Rajib Gupta

Have you ever wondered where the rainbow gets it colour from
or how the sky turns from blue to amber and then to red?
Have you ever wondered why the sea is blue and the grass is green
and flowers are in shades of pink and white and almost every colour in between?

Have you simply taken them for granted or relegated them to the mercy of some complex scientific explanation?
But do you still not take photographs of these colourful moments and show them around so that like you, your friends too stare at them in amazement?

Do you still not use them in lines of poems and expressions of feelings?
Do you still not think of them when your spirits are down and your feelings need a boost?
The answer is very simple, if you think of it. Colour is a form of beauty and beauty is something we all aspire for.

A little rhyme might help you understand better:
In times of good and in times of bad
Think of a colour that makes you glad
'Cause if your life becomes clourless
Things are bound to be a mess.
So colour your thoughts in a happy hue
and live your life good and true.
