Wonderland Poem by Paul Storm

Wonderland

Rating: 4.5

Did Alice’s
Wonderland
Possess such unknowns?

Who you are?
Whom you belong to?
And where do you go
For ice-cream?

Take me
From this evening’s
Thoughts, intoxicating
My world
With you

And why do the shimmering stars
Of a sun drenched beach
Contour you so absolutely
Only a movie star
May hope for?

Or…

Are you a fantasy
A captivating tragedy
My bad habit

Rescue me anyway

Throw me a thought
Lest my soul
Finds the answers
In this bottle
