Woof, Bark! Poem by Mia Ocean

A puppy prances after a butterfly,
stopping to sniff each flower.
Adog sneaks along the sidewalk,
ready to pounce on the bird with great power.

The puppy gives a sad woof,
when his butterfly flutters away,
and the dog lets out a proud bark,
as he shows off the catch of the day.

The puppy teeters into the kitchen,
to munch on his tasty kibbles &bits,
and the dog wags his fluffy tail
after finishing his own bowl of grits.

The puppy squirms and whines
on his way to the vet,
but the dog only sits quietly,
being a good pet.
