Words Poem by Jon D. JENNINGS

Words

Red hot coals smolder

Words, volatile propallents
ignite passions.

Molten rivers of hot blood
course through distended veins.

Desires engorged, burst into a
thousand solar flares that cool
in the aftermath of
manipulated satisfaction
nourished by words.
