Words And Lovers Poem by A.Z. McCoy

Words And Lovers

Rating: 5.0

Trinkets of the mind,
Words buzz clockwork
In a mind, buzz
Words in honey

Farewelling lovers parted
Long ago
Rapt in skull,
Stuck in unreal moment

Till travels carry salt again
Of willing contortion
And tears press their faces
Aghast in the beat of elegant hammers.
