Words Last A Long Time (Rhyme Royal)
Our words are like birds that are set free
They are hard to get back once they're released.
The pain that they cause, these can easily
Be the thorns in one's heart when friendship ceased.
Speech can be cutting when wisdom is missed,
And the words we have said bring us regret.
Words last a long time, even after death.
