Words Of Heaven Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Words Of Heaven

Words faster than Laodicean chariots
Come out from the prisons of Spartacus
Plebeian oratory before the legions
All the dead legions outside of Bethel
Spanish sails with swords of inquisition
Words of the opulent whore
We are collective dialogue
Words of the pure prophets
Can words be prisons?
Cruel words of the asp god
Summations that limit
Jealous words with knives
Milton and Joyce rest
Console the bleeding soul
Lift up every weary tune
Measured words like vows

Golden rings swirl amidst timeless Enoch
Equinox revels like an axis wind
Permian and hollow Zeus
Collusion rescues the sphinx words of Nero
We are ancient parchments
We are the documents of Ophir
Lyrics of lyceum and oracles
Weighed in the balances at every feast
Assiduous cradles where lions roar
Have you heard Africa whisper
Shadow worlds speak of gray wolves
Speak of the fallen kings
Words of Keats and Shelley
Paris has many ghosts
Cemeteries of the knights armor
Rose thorns in belated lovers

Helical morning angels
Deep glowing forgiving prayer
Prayer are words with rivers
Tears recite the lonely nights
Resolution and last words
We are the courts of our words
Anger like red blood spilling
Lovers words that fly with hawks
Words that drove Byron wild
Sensual like a Degas dancer
Sublime with dark wings
Scintillating from moonlit Aphrodite
Words with dreams and clouds
Heal me with sweet vernal velvet
Your words my poetess are blue sky
Our words make love like emerald stars

Words of heaven feeding the sparrows
