Words Spoken Poem by Dawn Rodgers

Words Spoken

Rating: 5.0

Words spoken out of malice and hate,
But often we must contemplate...
What is the source?
Is it faithful and true?
Pretty packages wrapped in lies and tears aren't always what they appear,

Words spoken can never be removed...

They cut and they kill,
or they protect and they heal,

So, think before you speak,
Try not to assume...

Your words spoken are your essence and your being,
whether truth or lies...

Words spoken are really all that we have,
And either we live and die by our words or we lie...
