In this world we live in
You know things don’t go easy
It must be hard
To please
I hear this all the time
take the hard way out
Because it always pays off in the end
Get your money the hard way seems
To go through one ear and out the other
But get the easy money oh that’s no problem
See we as people fell to see that dumb
Devil is only tricking you
He knows what you like to
So my thing is work hard not easy
S earn yours not cheat
Because only person you effecting
Is yourself that’s what devil thinks
But you really got him fooled
Because went to Sunday school
So what people comes my way with mess
I don’t I just pray to god
So he can handle it
For its not my battle it’s the lord
I seen plenty of times
When the lord was on my side
It’s a bully of mine back in elementary school
She’d never follow the rules
Then get mad when things don’t go her way
So one day
She came across me
By laughing at my dirty socks
How bout around 3 o’clock
Hers look the same
Then a group of pick and call her names
What a shame I’m telling you
Taking the hard way always pays off
But at sometimes we are guilty of taking
The easy way out but later it comes back
On us but we trust that
God you forgive us of our sins
That we’ll do right in the end
Of the day
