World Of Politics
Today we honour the memory
of the great Michael Foot, born 1913.
For many years he served our country well.
As an ardent Labour Party Leader
And so much more there is to tell.
History will inform each reader of
Public Speaking which cast a spell.
But now is the time for silence
As Britons whisper a sad farewell.
