World Without Spectacles Poem by Maria Sudibyo

World Without Spectacles

Blurred line, shadow creature
World becomes abstract dream
Mingled into one like Van Gogh’s painting
Candles in the wind dance like fireflies
And city light struggles to be spirit

Hazy sight, sparkling sunshine
Merry go round in the darkness
People’s laugh with their mask
World’s spinning around
I’m left outside the circle
