Worn Out Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Worn Out

Rating: 5.0

</>

Who breathes through the storms
Pray tell me the wind read off the palm
Abandoned hearts of abandoned homes
Pray will you be a place of calm

Pray will you laugh across the skies
Laugh through the tears of a rainbow split
Pray will you hear me calling through the cries
Of eagle lost mountains where nothing ever sits

The way the clouds stood up against the rains
The way the shouts cried out against the chains
The way the stones of dust were cast into skies
The way the last word says no but never denies

Any answer answered on the scales of justice
Any answer answered in the arms of love
Pray the light heart carried right under the mattress
Of a bed dream soaring to dwell so high above
