Worth Kissing You Poem by laurel santaw

Worth Kissing You

Let the world stop turning,
Let the sun stop burning,
Let them tell me love's not worth going through.
If it all falls apart,
I will know deep in my heart,
The only dream that mattered had come true
...In this life I was loved by you..

It seemed
like years
before
I picked
a bouquet
of kisses
off his mouth
and put them
into a dawn-colored vase
in
my
heart.
But
the wait
was worth it.

Because
I
was
in love.

You are the most amazing man that has ever lived, and it is worth dying to have kissed you.
