Worthwhile Things (A Young Poet) Revised Poem by Heather Burns

Worthwhile Things (A Young Poet) Revised

Rating: 5.0

Consider the seasons
how they change
beautiful snow
falling rain.

Summer sun shining
bright,
millions of stars
giving off light.

Flowers blooming
in the Spring
children's voices
sweetly ring
as the choir begins
to sing.

Gentle flows from
a brook, aroma of
food as it cooks

Our children lying
safely in bed
after good night
prayers are said.

Happiness when
loved ones smile
these things make
life worthwhile.
