Worthy Son Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Worthy Son

Rating: 5.0

The legend says” o mother, do not loose honor”
By giving birth of son with no future
“It will be better if you remain childless
Then having son with no values

Such high thinking was the main motto
For olden days people for honor to forgo
Mother was given high importance
For giving birth to worthy sons

It was the age of kings and great empires
They had role of defending boundaries
Of motherland with great valor
They preferred death to honor

The sky is called magnificent
With moon having appearance as crescent
Stars can be added in feather
But moon remains moon with splendor

Many more things are said for honor and respect
The person is not known by caste, creed but only by act
The wealth may disappear and so the name
But his name will become famous to claim
