Worthy Wait Poem by Manonton Dalan

Worthy Wait

White caps filling my eyes
seagulls nurturing hunger
gliding against gentle wind
waiting for tug on my string
nothing seems to want my bait
except crabs bite bit by bit

i let my music cradle my day
snacking on chips, soda pops
relaxing to cool sea breeze
hearing voices of joy; lucky
catching big fish but not me
am here to pass my time; great
