To clear your stuttering mind, unleash your wonder,
To organize those stirrings of the soul,
To assemble all the pieces, see the whole.

Write!
To smile, and nod with clever understanding,
To gaze in wonder at this new found truth,
To rise with fresh intent, and spark of youth.

Write!
To share the words that you have written,
To nudge a wavering person to the right,
To blow across a fevered furrow some dark night.

Write!
To stir the hearts of people, cast a vision,
To spur some small discussions for a cause,
To give elusive evil forces pause.

Write!
To add to the momentum, turn the volume up,
To sweep across a long beleaguered nation,
To offer confidence and vibrant inspiration.

Write!
To call for action, send a signal,
To scream a message like a flag unfurled,
To invite in whispers low, the ready, searching heart,
And thus to change the world.
