Write A Man In Cursive Poem by Windsor Guadalupe Jr

Write A Man In Cursive

Woman, let me tell you
And let me pry for a little while.
Let not whittle away
The purpose of your flame.
There is such eloquence
In a woman that writes a
Man in cursive.
The thin strokes,
The lithe pirouette of the pen
Over the paper, over the world
And the errs of his winter,
His struggle, his defunct state.
There is a beauty in a world
So great that you can
See it in the contact of a pen
From a woman over the
Creases of a man,
In cursive,
In sophistication.
Oh, legible poet,
The aesthetics of your hand
Is beguiling.
Snare me, a man so willing
A man of papered shrill,

Write cursive upon my
Skin, my callouses,
My troubles, my soul
Young, taut and delicate flower
Of bliss.
