Writer's Block Poem by Aris Williams

Writer's Block

Pumpkins.
Music.
Math.

Damn.
Glance around the room,
Look for creativity,
Or something, and soon.

Errrrr.........
Your readers are bored,
And growing impatient,
Stares are like swords.

Think!
It is not your fault!
You can not help yourself,
Your mind is at a halt.

Come on ideas!
You're running out of time!
Go onto the internet,
And look for a sign.

Ugh!
You can't take this anymore!
You'll maybe take a nap,
Or go to the store.

That's it!
You found something cool!
You got an idea,
While sitting at school.

I'll write about writer's block!
You are just so smart!
A perfect idea!
You're so good at this art!

Yes!
Now your poem is done!
Nobody would hate this,
Absolutely no one!

Great...
Now that you finished,
You need another poem,
But your ideas diminished,

Um.....
Back to the start,
You have good ideas,
But you've had a brainfart!

Pumpkins.
Music.
Math.

Damn.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This seriously was how I thought of writing this poem. From going on the internet to naps. A fun one for you. Enjoy! (I know this is cliche.)
