Writer's Desert Oasis
Silencing the immeasurable force within, placing
barriers so nothing can begin unless it comes
from within.
Sloughing off all comers, resting in the peaceful
power it brings.
Faded daylight falling around me, holding up the
edges until darkness folds them over.
Delicious peace fulfilling inner needs to be alone
on a writer's desert oasis.
