Wrong

Is there something wrong with me?
That would make you want to hurt me.
That would make you want to ignore me.
What did I do that was so wrong?
Did I talk to you too much.
Did I want to be with you too much.
Did I care for you too much.
Please tell me, what is wrong?
What is going on?
If you are going to break up,
with me just do it.
I'm tired of feeling like I'm,
doing something wrong every second,
I'm with you.
I'm tired of feeling like,
there's something wrong with me,
when I'm with you.

Poem of the Day

poet Walt Whitman

ARM’D year! year of the struggle!
No dainty rhymes or sentimental love verses for you, terrible year!
Not you as some pale poetling, seated at a desk, lisping cadenzas
