Wrong My Love Poem by Katheryn Foley

Wrong My Love

In love so deep I fell too quickly a fair demand of love and war my heart chose.

The queen of hearts won and I knew I was done,

The familiar pain swallowed me hard, I guess I got what I deserved.

I tried to stay close towards the middle your love shoved me to the edge.

This last touch pushed me over the ledge and now I'm laying broken on the ground

as you take us a step further and I don't make a sound.

Its hard o see this all around. Dying inside I stayed silent.

This wouldn't end soon enough, but before I die I will pray before the moon.

As time raced on I became frozen to the feelings inside.

Even when the sun shone brightly my inner light was dimmed.

This was not the plan we had chose, But I have become inferior to you

and now I stay blue until someone understands what to do

to save my broken, scared, and torn body from your monstrous being.
