Wrong Number Poem by syed zaidhusaini

Wrong Number

Rating: 4.8

I was in a room with a phone
The phone rang with a 'tring tring' tone

I lifted the phone and said Hello
He too said hello with a swallow

He said 'I got a prize in a lucky contest by luck'
By those words of him my heart struck

I thought that 'I was luckiest of all men'
He said sorry, it's a wrong number, this mistake wont'repeat again

To console my anger I counted ten
and thought to push him in a sanitary den
