Wrongly Done Poem by Pedro Cescon

Wrongly Done

It is wrong...

You can say whatever, but it is wrong...

Say you want freedom and and make it truth... But has been did wrong...

When it happens that we'll stop feeding on our self-acquired arrogance, labeling things of our misguided archetypes, and truly see, with naked eyes, what has been done, then we'll stand against and make it stop...

But as we are, all we can show is hypocrisy, calling peace can only be achieved from a top of dead bodies...

I don't know how to do it right, I'm not that smart. But I have enough in me to guarantee it has been happening wrongly. At the very core of our actions, is where contradiction is living. To kill it without killing ourselves, that is the big puzzle...

But I haven't given up on that yet. I will bet my life in that humanity can still do it. Perhaps, that is the only right way, to have the faith in ourselves, that we can overcome our own heinous crimes... Perhaps...

But, all in all, I just ask you to see the world closer, free from your preconceptions and pre-planned good will. It is wrong, can't you feel? And for one to be right, there's no need to be the one to change the whole world. It is just necessary that one change oneself... Then, and only then... It'll be rightfully done...
