It's a chilly morning
This December
Doesn't feel like Christmas, really
Even though it's only weeks away
The only evidence
Is a few strands of tangled lights
And a deer standing forlornly
Trying to appear noble.
The only snow covers the peaks
But the fog rolls over them.
