I write 2 keep my brain on the ball.
I write 2 amuse myself and maybe U.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

i don't usually substitute single characters such as '2' or 'U' for words in my writing. i hope this doesn't detract from the reader's enjoyment (hopefully there is SOME enjoyment in this) . the explanation for why (and when) i write, is pretty straightforward. i'm also retired and it helps pass the time some days.
