Yadoon Kee Baaz Gasht

Ruk jaiy teri yaad ka jow behr-e-tasalsul
Sha-id meri namnaak nigaooN maiN kamee Ho

Laikin main delaiy zaar ko sumjhaooN tow kaisaiy
DharkaiY haiY jo din raat, in-hee yadowN kaiy saharaiY.

Zindaa hooN main jeenaiN kee Tamannaa to naheeN haiY
Mar jaooN, jo tera husn-e-tasawwer naaN sadaa ho

PinhaaN haiN teri yaad maiN khusheyooN kaiY jo lamhaat
Yaa rab wo del-e-zaar saiY her giz naaN juda howN.
