Yet Another Birthday Poem

somewhere in your labyrinth I lost my way
I do not care. But wonder why
I cannot let you know

I know why you built the labyrinth
it was not for me but I wandered in

[some people lose their hearing
many lose their sight
some lose their sense of smell
or taste their food less and less]

I am not Minotaur; wish I was
instead of a fly caught in a web
long out of use
