'Yet...Hidden Behind That Fan' (Dedicated To Angela Huang, My Cousin)

a pretty little girl
who hides herself behind a fan
a voice so fine just like her father's
but could win a boy's heart even during life's peril
make the crickets' strings and birds sing for you in the night of day
as you always can

u a cute girl
to become the girl of another boy's dreams
an innocent soul, but can quickly have a row if needed
so quiet, but can laugh like the angels such as the name I gave you
but your voice fades away like a bell toll until no more
and yet I still see the imprint of that beautiful smile you still have
yes, indeed, you an angel yet a cat when angered
little do you know
but I have heard
from the little birdies
that a voice that yours should be heard
ever since then I had tried
but did not succeed
but you are still a loving cousin to me

a little butterfly who shies away from a camera's flash
you and the other (Han-Han) danced like little cherry blossoms
but now to different paths
as you walk down your lonely road
made of light and love and happiness
but ever since light came into your eyes
artistic blood flew through your very veins
yet your skills may be beyond imagination
waiting for that click to come
to expand and prosper
and yet for now, your skills are still hidden behind that fan

beauty by the hand
arts by the voice
grace by the steps
angel of that you are
but still my loving cousin everyday

a flower still blooming as the night goes on
still your petals yet begins to unfold below my eyes
as the clock ticks by
as Father Time seeps the sand to ashes past my eyes
as every year turns round and round, as the world ages older
you seem to get younger by the day
probably cuz your an angel
and yet I seem to get older
even though you are 1 year older than me
you seem to find a way to stop the clock from racing away

hidden in the flower of that you are
blooming in the time of singing
yet only but a cute girl
but a loving cousin to me
and you are always to me the angel yet hidden behind that fan
