Yo Poem by Barbara Talman

Yo

Yo, Jesus, Rabbi,
you were a rebel,
a hero, real.
So much courage
and brains,
you were bound for
trouble.
A feel for the
disenfranchised,
the truth.
A no compromise kinda dude.
Until, in their attempt
to render you to ashes,
they released
a soul power
that has reverberated,
distorted,
through out
the
centuries.
