You Poem by Didier Sixte Kahungu

You

Just like fresh hope
You have changed my life
Just like weather
From sun to rain
You got rid of my stains
But cant wash away that relief from my heart.

When you smile
Unlike sunrise
You, you unveil the real shape and colours of my heart

I`m a prisoner of your love, but yet, I`m unshackled.

Just like a river bed
I was still yours even when i was sad
And once overflowed,
Just like destiny, You saw what lied ahead,
For me.

Just like steel watershed,
You kept away,
Anything thatf flew the opposite way.

Just like a lover,
You held me drunk or sober.
And Just like a weaver,
To You I owe my dreams Mom.
