Why do I always think of you?
I find I speak of you all the time
Why does my heart speed up when i see you?
You are not mine
Why do my hands shake after I touch you
as if it'll be the last time?
Why does my heart stop when you smile to me?
And why does my heart break when you walk away?
I should know better,
But you're like a scar that's so deep it'll never fade.
You love her
I hate myself for letting you slip away
I hold my breath when you walk away
to keep from screaming out your name
You walk away
I die in vaim
Dreams of you coming back to me
Fade in time like a memory
But it's just a dream
Slipping away like my tears
Watching you go is like having a knife cut through my chest.
What I didn't say
It's killing me
I just need to say
the true feelings in me
I need to say it
Just let it out.
Scream it out
Cry it out
Those three little words
and although it hurts
I gotta say
before I fade away
Just need to say
I need you
and it's all your fault
but I gotta say this
though it might not mean as much to you as me
