You Poem by Ashley Davis

You

Is that what you want?
Leave me alone.
You think to much.
My breathing halts to a stop.
What have I done?
You expect me to listen?
I have my own thoughts...
Do you listen?
Not worth it.
Speeding down the empty street.
Looking to the east seeing open space.
What do you see?
It hurts to know the truth.
But good to know it all the same.
Why must you question me?
To wonder is a powerful thing.
Yes. No. Is there a right answer with you?
Slip away.
Don't let me be misunderstood.
Killing time.
Pressured only makes it worse.
