You And I Poem by Josh Menard

You And I

'You and I
My life is a lie
How I long my life a book
But no one would look
5 Then you stepped in
And took my sin
Made it something new
A hurt only you could renew
Now, as I count the years
10 And some of the tears
Of the pain and suffering
All I could find was you who did the buffering
Even as I walk, drive, or fly
You will always be with me
15 You and I'
