You And I Poem by emily summers

I am so tired,
yet I cannot sleep,
I am overly upset,
yet I cannot weep,
everytime I try to fly,
I fall at your feet,
and when I try and say goodbye,
something always brings me back to you again,
like a magnetic force of attraction,
a magical sensation.

Whenever we meet,
my heart skips a beat,
and whenever we speak,
my throat dries up and I become weak,

I think i hear your name sometimes,
I turn around looking for you,
I think I hear your voice some days,
and I reply to you before i realise it's just my mind.

I get so tired,
yet I can't sleep,
because every dream,
Isn't nearly as wondeful as being with you,
feeling your breath,
listening to your heart beat.
