You and Your Lies
All the lies seem to mean nothing to me
I no longer search for the truth within the web of deception
It doesn't matter, the pain never stops, the feelings only stronger
Was there once when it wasn't fake?
Was there once when it wasn't just for show?
If there was I can't recall, all my memories are burned with hate
But for some reason I keep getting drawn back to you.
Your words like to caress me with falsehood
And flatter me with denial.
But I love it. I love your lies, they make me feel alive
At least you care enough to deceive me and break my heart.
If only you cared enough to repair it.
