You Are...

My cup of coffee
in the morning when I rise
Delicious, hot and steamy
I drink you with my eyes

You are...
The bottle I drink from
as I taste your heavenly wine
and as you fill me up, my love
I feel so divine

You are...
My can of Diet Coke
I drink to quench my thirst
Flowing deep inside me in rivers
through which my banks, it's burst

You are...
My delicious chocolate cake
and you taste oh, so yummy!
Filling me with sweet delight
as you caress my tummy

You are...
My candle glowing warm
Your love shines just for me
I am your candle glowing warm
My love shines just for thee.....

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
